PNV Inc. Announces Multi-Million Dollar Alliance With America Online PNV to be Premier content Provider for the Trucking Professionals Area Of AOL's WorkPlace Channel

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla., April 19 /PRNewswire/ - PNV Inc., the leading provider of bundled telecommunications, Internet access, cable television and industry content to truck drivers at truck stops, today announced an alliance with America Online, Inc., the world's leading interactive services company, under which PNV's content and services for the trucking and logistics industry will be available across several AOL brands.

Under the two-year, multi-million dollar agreement, PNV will be the premier content provider for the Trucking Professionals area of AOL's WorkPlace Channel, ranked by Media Metrix as the leading career destination in cyberspace.

Now, AOL members and visitors to AOL Digital City and Netscape Netcenter will have instant and direct access to PNV's broad array of information and services designed to connect drivers, long-haul trucking fleets, truckstop operators, advertisers and trucking industry suppliers. AOL members can also use AOL Keyword: PNV.

In addition, PNV will become a premier sponsor in the Freight Matching and Load Posting section within Netscape Netcenter. Freight Matching and Load Posting are dynamic B2B exchange tools that allow carriers and shippers the opportunity to maximize each trip they make by coordinating and potentially bidding for available space on a given truck from its point of origination to its destination as well as the return trip. It is estimated that 40% of trucks do not have scheduled freight on their return trip accounting for millions of dollars in unrealized revenue.

"We are very excited to announce our agreement with AOL, as it allows members easier and more convenient access to PNV content both within PNV.com and AOL," said Bob May, President and CEO of PNV. "Also, this relationship will help PNV facilitate our B2B initiatives focusing on applications and services such as Freight Matching/Load Posting, ProMiles routing, truck parts exchange and more."

"PNV is determined to create efficient solutions that use technology and media to transform the trucking industry, and this agreement with AOL helps us to leverage our position to achieve that objective," said Steven Yevoli, President of PNV.com. ``We remain steadfast in our commitment to find ways to keep drivers connected to their families, fleets, suppliers and the world at large."

"We are happy to join with PNV Inc. to provide the trucking community with the resources they need to stay connected, whether on the road or at home," said Tim Driver, Group Director of AOL WorkPlace, which features active communities for people in 75 different professions. "Professional truck drivers need connectivity, and working together with PNV.com, we can provide them with valuable content, tools and services."
