ProMiles^® announces promotions and plans for expansion

Bridge City, TX (October 13, 2001) - ProMiles Software Development Corporation president, Tony Stroncheck today announced the promotions of Darrel Richardson to Director of Technical Support, Chris Lee to Marketing Director and Terry Bailey as Internet Services Director. In a related announcement, Stroncheck stated that ProMiles would be increasing their staff by approximately 30 % this year with the majority of those jobs being in the Bridge City office. ProMiles Software Development Corporation is one of the largest providers of mapping, routing and Fuel Tax software applications for the trucking industry.

Mr. Richardson joined ProMiles in September of 1999 as a member of the technical support staff. A 1993 graduate of Bridge City High School, Richardson went on to become a 1999 graduate of Lamar University Institute of Technology with a degree in Business and Computer Information Systems. A former member of the U.S. Army, Richardson is continuing his education in the computer field with classes such as Microsoft Networking. "He has been a valued addition to our staff. And, his leadership skills will make him an excellent choice to head our expanding technical support team" said Stroncheck.

Chris Lee also joined ProMiles in September of 1999, but as a member of their sales staff. A 1978 graduate of Bridge City, he has attended Lamar University and Faris Computer School as well as working for several companies in the trucking industry. Mr. Lee has also been the project coordinator in the release of ProMiles latest CD product, TruckMiles. "As the only former over the road driver in our sales division, it makes it easy for me to relate to what they are looking for as a driver or owner/operator" said Lee. According to Stroncheck. "With our plans for continued expansion, Chris will be a definite asset in the development of our expanding customer base."

Terry Bailey has been with ProMiles since early in 1999 and has been assigned in the past as Graphic Designer for both print and Internet materials and as ProMiles Webmaster. "With the expansion we have done in the Internet Services area of the industry, we needed to place someone in charge of not only the ProMiles website design and content, but who could coordinate projects with related industry Internet services that we have in place and plan for the future," said Stroncheck.
